Information on the first Summer BLAST Tournament in 2019

Summer BLAST (Beer League All Stars Tournament) with LLP (Luther League’s Players)

This Tournament was only for Luther League’s Intermediate players from Monday and Thursday nights teams. Each team: Blanco, Azul, Kelly, Silver, Yellow, Hellblau, Weiss, Silver, Purple, Teal, Green and Amarillo were eligible to enter the tournament but only six played.

Several of the players from the Luther League’s Intermediate Monday and Thursday nights teams got together and thought it would be a great idea to have a tournament and support an outstanding charity. Many conversations later and receiving approval from Tim Luther we moved forward with the 2019 Summer Blast Luther Leagues’s Players Tournament and supported the Bob Greene Memorial Emergency Scholarship Fund for Colorado Springs Amateur Hockey.

Each team was guaranteed three games and the top four teams played a fourth game for the first, second, third and fourth places.

Teams were Black, Yellow, Azul, Teal, Blanco and Green.

Black team was 1st, Yellow team 2nd, Azul team 3rd and Teal team was 4th. By the stats Blanco was 5th and Green can in 6th.

Congratulations Black for winning the first Summer BLAST Tournament in 2019!
